From November 5 to 7, 2024, the Smart City Expo World Congress 2024 was held at the Fira Barcelona exhibition center, located in the Gran Via area, Barcelona. This is the leading international event for the smart cities sector, a key meeting point for experts and leaders from the most innovative cities, companies, research centers and international organizations in the world.

Like every year, the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) has participated with a 120 m2 stand divided into different areas and built with recyclable wood. In this space, different panels have been shown with key information about the milestones achieved by the entity in different sectors. Among them, in the panel related to innovation in waste treatment, mention was made of the LIFE INFUSION project.
