The 25th of February, Aqualia participated in a networking on innovation and technology in water treatment with Serveyco, organizer of the conference.
The host presented its Life project more eco-innovator: the NEWEST and SAFE T WATER. The first one has the aim to eliminate total phosphorus from wastewater from urban and industrial treatment plants and recover the sludge generated in agriculture. All this with a natural technology respectful of the environment. The second one is focus on a new eco-innovative drinking water treatment based on one-step chemical technology, using a multifunctional natural polymer.
On the other hand, Aqualia introduced the LIFE ZERO WASTEWATER, LIFE INFUSION and H2020 RUN4LIFE. The ZeroWW will demonstrate an innovative, profitable and efficient wastewater treatment plant solution for the integrated management of urban wastewater and the organic fraction of urban solid waste. The INFUSION seeks to improve the current treatment of wastewater from OFMSW’s anaerobic treatment, through a series of technological processes that are constructive and non-destructive of the organic load and nutrients of these waters, providing solutions related to circularity. Finally, the Run4Life demonstrates an alternative strategy to improve resource recovery from wastewater, using a decentralized approach in toilet wastewater, other domestic wastewater and organic kitchen waste are collected separately.
