From November 21st to 24th, 2022, the National Environmental Congress (CONAMA) was held at the IFEMA fairgrounds in Madrid, bringing together a large number of representatives of entities to discuss the main challenges for the future in terms of the environment.
Among others, technical sessions were held on municipal waste, trying to address the importance of the challenge that the increase in the selective collection of organic waste will entail in the near future derived from the established regulatory requirements and objectives. In this sense, it is worth highlighting the importance that projects such as LIFE INFUSION can acquire, since a greater selective collection of organic waste will lead to greater amounts of liquid fraction of digestate to be treated, thus increasing the potential use of its present resources through processes as the one developed in the project.
The LIFE INFUSION project was represented by the exhibition of a poster that summarized the main aspects of the project: its objectives, the process, the main results obtained so far and the importance of its development.
