From 15 to 17 of November, the Smart City Expo World Congress 2022 will be celebrated in Fira Barcelona exhibition centre, located in the Gran Via Venue, Barcelona. This is the leading international event for the smart city sector, a key meeting point for experts and leaders of the world’s most innovative cities, companies, research centres and international organizations.
This year, the congress is expected to have high repercussion achieving around 20,000 in-person attendees, 20,000 online attendees, 1000 exhibitors, 350 speakers, 140 countries and 700 cities.
The Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) will take part of the event with a 120 m2 stand. In there, the Ecology Area will present some key aspects of the environmental issues, including the strategy towards the waste prevention and treatment (PREMET25), projects to promote the environmental education (COMPARTIM UN FUTUR), and initiatives to encourage the repair of objects to reduce consumption (MILLOR QUE NOU).
Moreover, the 17th at 11:30 am, the Waste Prevention and Management Service (AMB – Ecology) will present the LIFE INFUSION project to citizens and professionals through an oral presentation at the stand 121. If you want to know the project backwards and forwards, through a big screen and QR code, you will be able to surf through the project website and learn more about its main objectives and expected results.
